Who we are

Bread of Life is a faith-based community initiative in Cape Town that restores dignity, hope, and purpose to individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, trauma, and social isolation. We are more than a feeding scheme. We are a consistent presence of compassion and transformation in a city where too many feel unseen and forgotten.

Founded through a divine calling, Bread of Life was established to meet both practical and spiritual needs through daily action. We recognized that the struggles faced by people living on the streets (hunger, trauma, lack of safety, and loss of dignity) are everyday realities requiring an everyday response.

We believe every person matters, every story has value, and lasting change happens when love is shown through consistent action. In a city of beauty and brokenness, we provide pathways toward restoration and renewal, offering hope to those who need it most.
